Our Pride Committee is organized and thriving. Here’s some of what we will be doing … and some of what we’ve already done.

  • Supporting our allies
  • Organizing our own Pride Committee events
  • Making recommendations on 2SLGBTQIA+ issues, policies, strategies and initiatives
  • Identifying discriminatory legislation, provisions or practices and recommending actions that will end them.

You don’t have to be in Whitehorse, Yellowknife, or Iqaluit to join our ranks. Our conference call meetings can easily accommodate you – no matter where you live.

WE’RE WORKING TO FIND SOLUTIONS

We participate in conferences, education and training programs on issues that affect 2SLGBTQIA+ members.
We are relied upon for representation of 2SLGBTQIA+ members, their issues and equality goals in the various union bodies, programs and social justice groups.
We sit on the National Human Rights Committee and other PSAC National and Regional bodies … and much more.
