The Yukon Racialized Workers Committee will award a $1,000 bursary to a Yukon PSAC member who self-identifies as a racialized individual and will be participating in course work or training from a recognized institution in the fall of 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be considered, applicants must:
- Reside in the Yukon.
- Self-identify as a racialized person.
- Be a PSAC member in good standing as of March 31, 2026.
- Be enrolled in an education or training course or program at a recognized institution in the fall of 2026.
- Submit a complete application on or before August 31, 2026.
APPLICATION
A complete application shall consist of:
- A completed Application Form.
- A 500-word response to the Essay Question below.
- Proof of enrollment, as provided by your educational institution.
IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION
- Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications must meet all three requirements listed above.
- Late applications will not be considered. The APPLICATION DEADLINE is August 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM YT.

Membership Requirement
Applicants must be a PSAC/YEU member in good standing as of March 31, 2026.
A member in good standing is a member who has up-to-date union dues and a signed PSAC membership card.

The applicant’s name and information about the course or program that the bursary will be provided for may be published in PSAC North and/or Yukon Racialized Workers Committee communication materials.
