To all Local 007 PSAC/NEU members working at Qulliq Energy Corporation,
Your bargaining team resumed negotiations with the Employer in Iqaluit this week, as planned.
With the Union having tabled the vast majority of its proposals late last year, including monetary demands, your team expected that the Employer would be able to respond and engage with our demands and the negotiation could move forward.
While we have yet to reach a deal, we believe the Employer and the Union had productive exchanges and we look forward to resuming at our next set of bargaining dates in April.
