The 5th National Black Canadians Summit, “Moving Forward Together,” will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba from Friday, September 18–Sunday, September 20, 2026. PSAC North is sponsoring two members to attend.
To be considered, applicants must:
- Be a PSAC North member in good standing.
- Identify as Black, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Descendant, Afro-Latino, or another Black or multiracial identity.
- Be able to attend the full summit in person (travel and accommodation will be provided).
Applications are due on Thursday, August 6 at 12:00 PM MT.
The Summit provides a national platform where Black communities can gather, speak openly, learn from one another, and collectively shape solutions. Learn more about the Summit at BlackCanadianSummit.ca
PSAC will pay for travel, accommodation, loss of salary and benefits (where applicable). Family care will be reimbursed in accordance with PSAC’s Family Care Policy.
