This year’s UN Women’s International Women Day observance is in recognition and celebration of the women and girls who are leading the charge on climate change adaptation and response, and to honour their leadership and contribution towards a sustainable future.

Northwest Territories:
Join PSAC Northwest Territories Regional Women’s Committee in celebrating and recognizing union women who tirelessly work and help make our world a better place. All you need to do is to nominate a union woman who inspires you with her work, passion and kindness. She could be someone who does extraordinary work at the union and/or community or has overcome obstacles in her life. Let us know who inspires you.
All nominees will enter a draw— there will be 4 draws of $100 each in each of the 5 NWT regions.

Nunavut:
PSAC North Nunavut Regional Women’s Committee invites you to a special beading and sewing workshop to honour and celebrate International Women’s Day. You’ll have a pair of earrings and/or sealskin headband, and great conversations and connections. This event is organized in partnership with Qajuqturvik Community Food Centre and Nunavummi Makinnasuaqtiit.
