Would you like to learn more about how unions work towards the improvement of workers’ status? Grab your lunch and join us for a “lunch and learn” course, with the chance to win a prize!
This course is intended for new or existing members that want to learn more about the role of PSAC (Public Service Alliance of Canada) in promoting workers’ interests and status. A brief overview of the labour movement in Canada will be covered, and the course will address some common misconceptions about labour organizations. The importance of member involvement will be highlighted, and the relevance of unions today will be explored.
The course is open to all new members, or members that have not previously taken an orientation session seeking more information.
The session will be about 45 minutes in length. Attendees can join via Zoom and will have the opportunity to win a 30$ gift card to one of over 100 merchants to use online or in person.
