Nothing About Us Without Us
The labour movement has always been about fighting for fairness and ensuring that no worker is left behind. We have a responsibility to amplify the voices of workers with disabilities, to fight for truly inclusive workplaces, and to make sure that accessibility and dignity are non-negotiable rights.
The purpose of the Yukon Access Committee is to ensure that PSAC members with disabilities are given the opportunity to participate fully in their union and in their workplaces. In addition to participating in conferences, education, and training programs, and reviewing, discussing, and making recommendations on issues, policies, and strategies that affect members with disabilities, the committee represents members on the National Human Rights Committee and other PSAC National and Regional bodies.
Meetings are open to all PSAC members in good standing in the Yukon with a disability. There is space for everyone who wants to make a difference.
