REGISTER: Talking Union Basics Course in Dawson City for Yukon Members

This is PSAC’s key “introductory” course open to all Yukon PSAC/YEU members.

If you have wondered what it means to be a union member and how the PSAC works, then Talking Union Basics provides answers to these questions.

The course also introduces the collective agreement, your employee rights, and your rights as a member of the PSAC. You will learn about the many opportunities to be active in the union and ways you can make a contribution to building strong locals in your region.

The Talking Union Basics course is a prerequisite to all other advanced PSAC Education courses.

PSAC will pay for travel, accommodation, loss of salary and benefits (where applicable). Family care will be reimbursed as per PSAC policy. In addition, participants that reside in Dawson City, are entitled to claim $50.00 dollars per day to offset the cost of transportation and lunch.

Members residing in communities in proximity to Dawson City will be prioritized for this educational opportunity.
