CLOSED: Respectful Workplaces/Anti-Harassment Course for Kivalliq and Qikiqtaaluk Region Members

Participants will learn how to establish positive rapport with others in the workplace and how power relationships affect the workplace. This two-day course is open to all PSAC members in good standing in the Kivalliq and Qikiqtaaluk regions of Nunavut.
The course content explores how participants can work effectively through diversity and practice skills for dealing with workplace conflict. Participants will explore how harassment and bullying impact the workplace and workers. The policies, processes, and legal frameworks governing workplace harassment will be introduced and explored. This training also covers how to address workplace harassment and use effective strategies to do so.
PSAC will pay for travel, accommodation, loss of salary and benefits (where applicable). Family care will be reimbursed in accordance with PSAC’s Family Care Policy. In addition, participants residing in Iqaluit are entitled to claim $50.00 per day to offset transportation and lunch costs.
