APPLY: PSAC North Funding to Attend the CHC Profitization of Health Care Research Roundtable

The Canadian Health Coalition and the University of Ottawa’s Centre for Health Law Policy and Ethics are hosting a research roundtable on Canada’s Health Care Profitization Problem.

Canada’s public health care system is increasingly being infiltrated by venture capital, private equity and foreign direct investment.

On October 23, hear Canada’s thinkers on the profitization of health care and its problems at the University of Ottawa. Learn about how we can defend and expand pharmacare, primary care, reproductive health care, and safe long-term care. Keynote speakers are Pat Armstrong and Armine Yalnizyan.

PSAC North will fund travel and registration costs, and potential loss of salary, for three members – one from each territory – to attend this event.
