2025 Regional Racialized Workers Conference – “Village: Rooted in Strength, Rising Together”

We are thrilled to inform members that the 2025 PSAC North Racialized Workers Conference will be held on October 17 and 18 at the UNW Training Rooms in Yellowknife.

This fully-funded event is open to all PSAC North members in good standing who are Racialized Workers.

Conference Objectives

Regional Conferences are intended to create a forum for activists to reflect upon, discuss, and take action on issues facing their communities.

PSAC North Racialized members will gather under the theme “Village: Rooted in Strength, Rising Together” to discuss the progress and threats of Racialized Workers’ rights in Canada, and how to continue to advocate for these rights. This conference aims to honour histories while building toward collective growth and empowerment.

Additional information – including timing, travel and accommodation policies; details about loss of salary and family care; and the process for submitting resolutions – can be found in the Conference Call Out Letter.

Resolutions will be discussed, debated and voted on at the Conference and then subsequently submitted to the appropriate bodies, including the upcoming PSAC National Racialized Workers Conference scheduled for 2025. The Resolutions should be aimed at strengthening and improving the Union’s work on Racialized Workers’ rights and advancing our objectives. The deadline to submit Resolutions is August 15.
