PSAC-NEU members at Coral Harbour Housing Authority have reached a new collective agreement.
The agreement includes 3 years of general economic increases as follows:
April 1st, 2025 – 2.5%
Date of Ratification – 5%
April 1st, 2026 – 2.5%
April 1st, 2027 – 2.5%
Other gains include:
- a new preamble which acknowledges that the lands have been inhabited by Indigenous peoples since time immemorial, recognizes the ongoing consequences of settler colonialism, and a shared commitment to respecting Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit principles, and to protecting Inuit culture, language and way of life
- an increase to 4 paid days for hunting, fishing or harvesting leave (up from 2) with 1 unpaid day
- increase standby pay from $13 to $20 on weekdays and from $16 to $25 on weekends
- language allowance increased to $1250 from $1000 for official languages of Nunavut
