Respectful Workplaces/Anti-Harassment Course for NWT Members

A two-day course that provides training around respectful workplaces and anti harassment. Participants will learn about the ways they can establish a positive rapport with others in the workplace and how power relationships affect the workplace.
The course content explores how participants can work effectively through diversity and practice skills for dealing with workplace conflict. Participants will explore how harassment and bullying impact the workplace and workers. The policies, processes, and legal frameworks that govern harassment in the workplace will be introduced and explored. How to deal with harassment in the workplace and how to use effective strategies for dealing with harassment are also part of this training.
PSAC will pay for travel, accommodation, loss of salary and benefits (where applicable). Family care will be reimbursed as per PSAC policy. In addition, participants who reside in Yellowknife are entitled to claim $50.00 per day to offset the cost of transportation and lunch.
