Virtual Ratification Votes: Government of Nunavut Members

The Nunavut Employees Union (NEU) and Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) have been conducting ratification votes on a new agreement for Government of Nunavut employees in nearly every Nunavut community. Unfortunately, for reasons beyond our control – a lack of accommodations – we will not be able to hold in-person votes in the following communities:

Arviat

Chesterfield Inlet

Naujaat

Sanikiluaq

  • Members in those communities will be able to attend one of two virtual meetings and cast a ballot on either July 4 or July 5 (see below for times).
  • All other GN members who are not working in Nunavut or were not able to attend in-person meetings in their communities and cast their vote will also be able to register for those dates.
  • Members must attend the online information session to vote.
  • You must register in advance to attend one of these meetings and vote.
  • If we have your personal email, you will be receiving an email from communications@psac-afpc.vote with your individual registration information. Registration and voting information will not be sent to your work email.
  • If we do not have your personal email, you can provide it to us by emailing your information to PSACNorth@psac-afpc.com or by phoning 867-873-5670.
  • You must be a member in good standing to attend the information session and vote. This means you must have signed a union card.
  • If you have not signed a union card to become a member in good standing, or are not sure, please complete one here.

  • An optional question and answer period will follow the required information session.
