NTFL Labour Day Barbeque 2008

The Public Service Alliance of Canada and Union of Northern Workers partnered with the Northern Territories Federation of Labour (NTFL) for the annual Labour Day barbeque in Yellowknife. The barbeque was held in front of the NTFL's new office location at Stanton Plaza, and was well attended.

Labour Day is a time to pay tribute to the many victories of organized labour in the fight for improving workers rights, better pay, and workplace safety. This is also a time to remember the work ahead as we continue to assist our brothers and sisters in other countries who face prosecution and murder for participating in trade unionism.
